Innovative Applications of Precision Alloy 3J21 Elastic Components in Medical Devices

The medical device industry demands strict compliance in biocompatibility, corrosion resistance, and mechanical performance. 3J21 (CoNi20Cr10Mo7Ti2), a high-performance constant-elasticity alloy, is increasingly used in minimally invasive surgical instruments, interventional catheters, and implantable medical devices.

3J21 alloy exhibits excellent elastic properties, with minimal variation in its elastic modulus between -50°C and +150°C. It features near-zero elastic hysteresis and elastic aftereffect. Additionally, the alloy is non-magnetic and corrosion-resistant, and can achieve extremely high strength and hardness following appropriate heat treatment.

In the medical field, 3J21 alloy is primarily used to manufacture: {1) elastic gripping components for minimally invasive surgical instruments; {2) spring contacts for cardiac pacemakers; {3) guidewires for interventional catheters; {4) fixation screws for orthopedic implants. These applications fully leverage the high elastic limit, resistance to bodily fluid corrosion, and excellent biocompatibility of 3J21 alloy.

Jiangsu High-Entropy Alloys' 3J21 alloy wire achieves a diameter tolerance of ±0.005mm. Its surface quality meets stringent medical device standards, and we have established stable supply for multiple medical equipment manufacturers.
